Online pre-course learning & MCQ
for PILS, e-PILS and PILS Recertification Courses

The Resuscitation Council UK use their own e-learning platform to provide pre-course learning and post-course certification for all of their training courses.

To prepare for your course please follow these steps:

1) Please read the Resuscitation Council's Candidate Responsibilities letter

2) Ensure you have read your PILS manual (4th edition) in full

Manuals are sent at least 2 weeks before the face-to-face portion of the course.  If your course was booked through your workplace please contact the person responsible for booking you on your course as we will also ship the manuals to them.

3) Follow our click-by-click guide to using the LMS.  Please also keep an eye on your e-mail inbox for any confirmation e-mails from the Resuscitation Council to confirm your account and/or enrolment on your course.

4) The PILS course also uses continuous assessment throughout the day. Please review these forms to familiarise yourself with the expected level of competency required to pass the course. If you fail to complete either skill station, the trainer will work through a more comprehensive version of these forms with you so you have full feedback from the day.
